Currently, whether you choose to be in US Standard or Metric units, all measurements are represented in metric units when captured in ArcGIS Field Maps. Some users who are using Coordinate Systems like UTM. with US Standard Units selected could find it more useful to have the represented measurements be in feet, rather than needing to create a new field with an Arcade expression for its conversion.
