Map Viewer Iframe Functions

Hello,

We are converting our iframes in AGOL from Map Viewer Classic to Map Viewer for maps that we embed on our website, since Map Viewer Classic is due to be discontinued in Q1 2026.

However, it looks like some of the functionality that you have for iframes in Map Viewer Classic do not exist when you try and create an iframe using Map Viewer (please see screenshot attached).

This includes the functionality to add a scale bar, add layer toggles, set the active panel etc.

Does this functionality exist in the Map Viewer iframes and isn't visible on the interface?

And if not, please can some of this functionality be added to Map Viewer iframes going forward (especially scale bar, active panel, layer toggles).

You could use an app like the Sidebar instant app to add the scalebar, active panel and layer list then add this to an iframe?  After creating the sidebar app you can get the iframe code in the embed section of the publish dialog.
