Hello,

I noticed that when I publish a service from ArcMap to arcgis.com that the labels are not displayed in arcgis.com.  It would be useful if labels were displayed after publishing a map.

I do not like the current process of updating a map from ArcMap to arcgis.com which is:
  1. Open ArcMap
  2. Sign in to arcgis.com
  3. Share a service / Overwrite an existing service
  4. Open arcgis.com
  5. Open the layer(s) that you updated.
  6. Configure labels for each layer every time you update the map.
  7. Save the layer.
If labels were kept we could streamline the process to:
  1. Open ArcMap
  2. Sign in to arcgis.com
  3. Share a service / Overwrite an existing service

Futhermore it would also be useful if "update data in arcgis.com" could be tied into ArcCatalog.

*Note, I do understand that arcgis.com has a much simplier label engine than ArcMap.  So I dont except every label option to come across from publishing.  I would just like to see the default class, and label expression automatically display.

Thanks

My problem has to do with the configuration of the pop-up box saving.  So very related.  Each week when we want to update our parcels (which I've automated with python) I have to remember to go in and re-set up our pop-up box with all the hyperlinks, etc. and then 'save layer'.
