It would be interesting if each symbol of a layer in a map could have it's own individual image. You could have a table with a url field that would be used for the image. It would display only at a certain zoom level
That would let you visit the map with visual data (photos, personalized icons or other ideas) be seen.
Example of uses:
- I have a map of a forest with point with data about the specific space. I'm generating an image to describe those places (see example image)
- Think about a city map where you have a picture of every building (or any object of interest to you)
