Esri recently introduced ArcGIS Online layout templates (beta) for use in the MapViewer (What's new in Printing from Map Viewer); however, these templates cannot be accessed by users through the print widget in apps such as Expreinece builder.
Adding the implementation of custom layout templates across printing services in ArcGIS Online and various WebApps would be a highly desired functionality as it would allow end-users who are interacting with a WebApp to print custom maps using a standardised template published by an organisation.
I am also looking for this ability. This would really help my organizations ability to enable all employees to print quick maps using web apps built by the GIS support teams via experience builder. Will be keeping an eye out for this one!
This functionality would be extremely helpful in my organisation too.
The majority of my users are interacting with maps within Experience Builder apps, not Map Viewer itself, so the lack of this capability is a bottleneck.
We're currently needing to provide documentation and training to a subset of users to allow them to print what they need from Map Viewer, rather than directly through the Experience that they are already familiar with.
Any way to get this to work. I enabled the printing capabilities in the Utility Services. I set the template group. I can't get my template to appear in my template group. I have messed around with this for a bit and get this to work. Any work arounds would be appreciated.
