Browsing layers: Bring back the old Thumbnail view

We are doing a project in ArcGIS Online with high school students and notice that when searching Living Atlas Layers, we no longer get thumbnails of what the layers look like. Instead, that list version comes up. Getting to the categories is trickier, too. Students don't know what they'd get until they click on a layer name. That's fine when you already know what you want, but if you don't, it's more time consuming and frustrating. Can I get the previous look for this? Is there a preference setting for my organization? If not, then please go back to that style. We realize that this might have been done to preserve working server space, but it makes it more challenging for newcomers to the system.
