Content in ArcGIS Online can only be edited by its owner. To improve collaboration among organization members working on the same content, it would be helpful to allow multiple people to work on one file (e.g. a web map, web app, or story map). The content owner could grant edit access to specific files, groups of files, or folders.

Without this, we have to transfer ownership from one person to another or created a shared login.

Hi Lauren,

The Shared Update Group setting allows users to make a range of updates to content:

https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/share-maps/create-groups.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_12B3CD7ADAF843DB9...

There are some limitations to this but it's a great starting point for collaborating with other users.

Cheers

I see. It would be helpful if this functionality to create shared update groups was not limited to organization administrators.
