Content management at the individual account level is lacking. Without the ability to create sub-folders users are left to create long explicit item names, and the tagging feature is way too cumbersome when you have hundreds of items.

Content categories are great, but currently they're only allowed to be used within Groups and across Organizations. It would be wonderful if the ability to create custom content categories was allowed for individuals users to organize the content within their account.

There is a privilege for Content called 'Manage categories' that allows users to configure content categories for the organization.

You could assign this admin privilege to a custom role for super-users who you believe would be responsible enough for content management.

Hi @ChristopherCounsell! Thanks for the suggestion, but if I understand things correctly, all members of the organization would then be exposed to the custom content categories, correct?

Unfortunately, this is not a reasonable solution as we have thousands of members in our organization who have nothing to do with the custom categories we want to create.

Ah I read as individuals create categories, not make a category for only
within the users account. Great idea!
