The AGOL Content Search only searches in hosted Feature Service names - it does not search the names of the individual sub-layers within the feature services.
At the moment user must know which feature service a particular exists in; the Search function does not help them find those sub layers.
Including individual sub layers in search results would dramatically improve the Content Search function.
