In ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS you can configure layer search for (hosted) ArcGIS Server services. Unfortunately layer search is not available for layers from OGC services (like WMS and WFS). As OGC services are supported (e.g. identify, change symbology etc.) it would be great if the features of these services could also be searched.
