The launch of the new ArcGIS Online home page editor is a great opportunity for Esri to implement the option to capture metrics on home page clicks to ArcGIS Online administrators. These metrics would allow administrators to monitor which items or links on the home page interest users most/least and adjust the home page accordingly to best serve the organization's users.

I am envisioning something similar to how we are now able to add Google Analytics to a StoryMap, where an administrator could add a Google Analytics ID somewhere in the home page editor and then explore the recorded metrics on Google Analytics.

Does anyone have an idea of how we could get an idea of user clicks on the home page as it stands now in case this idea is not implemented?

Thank you for considering this idea!
