I'm using Street Map 9.3 street network clipped down to my study area. When I try to build the network dataset I receive the error "Build Network Dataset failed. File read/write error occurred". I have deactivated my virus protection, as I read that this can be the problem, no luck. I have full permissions on my machine and network, and I have tried moving data locally with no success. If I go into the file properties and un-check read only it just appears to be checked again after I reopen the properties. I have also tried on others computers with no success. I'm running Win 7 64bit, nos SDE or other products. Anyone have an idea?
