Need street data for Washington D.C. for Network Analyst

Hi there,

I'm trying to find usable street data that will run with Network Analyst to do some spatial analysis of a D.C. map. Does anyone have any ideas where to access this for free?

ESRI has detailed streets based on 2007 TOM TOM data available free here. http://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?owner=esri&title=ESRI%20Data%20%26%20Maps&content=all&start=11 Download the dataset then clip out your area of interest. It has all attribute necessary to create a good network dataset for use in Network Analyst.
