Hi all,
We're new to Monitor, so I'm hoping this is an easy question! We needed to reboot our Monitor server for some Windows updates. Since then, all of our Collections have this little Error flag:
Additionally, when we hover over the Error message, we get a lot of Pending statuses.
All of our Alerts have been marked as resolved, and I don't see anything in the documentation about this? Or maybe I just missed it? Any guidance is appreciated!
(Also please disregard our Memory usage, we're working on it. :D)
Thanks so much!
Hi @LDreyfuss - check out the discussion as part of this thread:
While the initial post doesn't have to do with this issue directly, there is relevant information in the thread below that should help get it resolved for you. I don't think there's been any explanation yet as to why this issue occurs in the first place.
Chris
Hello,
Are any of the components in the collection also in the "Error" state? Collection status is driven off of the most critical status of the components that participate in it.
Best,
Josh
Hi Josh,
How do we get metrics out of the error state - on my Server hosts I have arcsoc processes in an error state for services that do not exist any longer. This puts the entire component into an error state. If there a way to refresh it?
Thanks
Fraser
Hi Fraser,
This post mentions unregistering the components and re-registering them. We were hoping we wouldn't need to, but haven't found any other way to do it. Hope this helps! https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-monitor-questions/arcgis-monitor-2023-custom-notification-statu...
