Should clicking the Collection status load a dialog or launch to another screen? It looks as though something is about to happen, however it just hangs.

Hi @BFraney,

Clicking the Collection status icon should display a pop-up that shows alerts for the collection. Something like this:

Perhaps try re-loading the ArcGIS Monitor web app in your browser? Maybe clear the browser cache to help resolve the behavior you're seeing?

Hope this helps,

I have confirmed the same issue is happening on my server as well. Cleared cache and started in inPrivate window:

I am going to log another bug with Esri Canada on this. Also having issues with Apply Labels whereby selecting multiple items and clicking Apply Labels and selecting a label causes the website to freeze up.

Hi @BFraney and @René_Ténière,

Are you guys accessing ArcGIS Monitor web app via remote desktop?

I ask, because of the info that @René_Ténière provided in his 2nd post. In ArcGIS Monitor 2023.0, we had a bug where batch labeling was not working when accessing ArcGIS Monitor web app via remote desktop. This bug was fixed in Monitor 2023.1.

I'm wondering if the behavior you're both seeing with the empty pop-up might be caused by the same reason. Could you please check if you observe the same behavior, but not access ArcGIS Monitor web app via remote desktop? TIA.

Hope this helps,

Thanks @DerekLaw, I was experiencing the same freezing behavior (v2023.1) when applying labels to components when in an RDP session but when I tried on a local browser, they worked fine. Much appreciated!

@DerekLaw Am I the only one who experiences issues within and outside RDP sessions? 😕 I tried again to verify that I hadn't only tested within RDP and used MS Edge on my laptop to check all issues I mentioned above. I still get the errors...

Hi @René_Ténière

Am I the only one who experiences issues within and outside RDP sessions?

I'm sorry to hear you're still encountering issues. Please work with Esri Canada Tech Support to examine your system environment, maybe there's some unusual system setting that's causing the issue(s)? Hopefully they can help identify something.

Do you observe the same behavior with Chrome or FireFox web browsers? I'm just curious.

Hope this helps,

Hi @DerekLaw, yes I observe the same behavior no matter which browser I use...

I experienced the same issue and opened a case with Esri Support.  Esri Support says this is an issue with the Esri Calcite components and will be addressed in a future ArcGIS Monitor 2023.3 release.   In an attempt to fix the issue, I used the new AGM 2023.2 "data retention policy" functionality to lower my data retention from the default 180 days to 14 days.  The next day, after making this change, the Collection status "pop up" issue was resolved - the pop-up was showing alerts again instead of nothing.  I don't know  if lowering the data retention policy fixed the issue or if it was just a coincidence the STATUS pop-up started working again  - just reporting what I saw.
