Hello,

I think I will need a bit more information about what you are attempting to study so that I can successfully answer your question or help find someone who can answer it. For examples of how people use GIS in ocean science and maritime, I recommend starting with the science landing page:
https://www.esri.com/en-us/about/science/overview

and The Living Atlas ocean projects page:
Projects | Oceans (arcgis.com)

I hope these links help you to refine your question.

Cheers,

Guy
