Maritime appointment at MACHC

Esri ArcGIS for Maritime team is absolutely thrilled to announce the appointment of Rafael Ponce as Technical Consultant for the XX Meso American and Caribbean Sea Hydrographic Commission (MACHC) International Charting Coordination Working Group (MICC), mainly to advise the MACHC on the migration, production and use of S-100 data!
He is currently participating at the MACHC in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
He recently resented the relevance of hydrographic information in a Geospatial world, and what can be the future of hydrographic offices to become part of the data “nervous system” of the planet.
Various countries around the globe are discussing relevant issues and cooperation in the region.
