Hi,
I can't find Import AIXM 5.1 to AIS (Aviation Data Management) (http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#//02960000000p000000). Screenshot is enclosed as attachement.
How to I convert AIXM 5.1 data to esri geodatabase or AIS?
Can you send your tutorial? Because this help pages (http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#/Introduction_to_the_ArcGIS_for_Aviation_tu...) are fairly insufficient.
Can you help me, please?

Hello,

One thing I did notice was that the version (build number) you are using for ArcGIS for Aviation is 2714 which indicates that is 10.2 Final release. The first thing I would suggest doing is to downloading and installing the Patch 2 for 10.2 I have Patch 2 installed locally and the ETL tools are showing up fine.

You can download the patch from here: http://support.esri.com/en/downloads/patches-servicepacks/view/productid/197/metaid/2028#issues

Thanks,

Hello,

Currently the Import AIXM 5.1 to AIS does not support every feature in the AIXM 5.1 schema. We are constantly adding new features to the importer when we release newer versions of the software (through patches, service packs and major releases). This phased approach allows us to incrementaly add support as new data is available for testing.

I have attached a document containing the AIS objects that are support for the AIXM 5.1 importer. The particular features that your file will import should be listed once the importer completes.

For the conversion we are using the Data Interoperability's AIXM5 reader to read the xml/gml features then map those to the corresponding Feature Class/Table in the AIS. Data Interop uses tools like AttributeRenamer or SchemaMapper that allows us to easily move objects from one datasource to the other. If you right-click on the ETL tool and choose "Edit" in ArcToolbox, this will bring up the Data Interop "canvas" that will show you how we map from the source to the destination.

Thanks,
Aviation Team

Here is a link to the online Help that shows the supported formats for the Data Interoperability extension. This has been updated to the latest release of ArcGIS 10.2.

http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/#/Supported_formats_with_the_Data_Interoperability_ext...

Are there specific AIXM 5.1 features that are required for your use that are not supported by our importer?

Thanks,
