How can I download hi resolution aerials

I'm trying to download hi resolution aerials for large format printing to create wall murals and posters. Also, does anyone know if there is a way I can import .tab files

supported raster formats tab sounds like old mapinfo files.  Is no other format available? nor the originating software to get them out into a different format?  Do you have access to FME?

Where are you obtaining these aerials from? Is there not another source you can use (and what part of the world is this)?

A link to the files you are trying to download would be more useful... since tab is not a standard output for a file containing geometry
