Agregate (generalizing thematic raster data) – Spatial Analyst

Good morning,

I would like to use landform raster data from Global Ecological Land Units dataset from USGS and ESRI but the original data are very too big. That's way I used Agregate tool from Spatial Analyst toolbox. The output data are smaller but the field with information about types of landform is missing – it was not transferred from original (input) raster dataset.
Why? Where is the problem?

The Aggregate tool is used for continuous data and not for thematic data. If you have a class with value 3 next to a class with value 5 the mean would result class 4, which probably does not have any relation to what you want to obtain. The result is probably a floating raster that will not have an attribute table.
