Is there a regular schedule for ESRI Demographics releases based on US Census data? For example if the 5-year ACS data is released in December, when would the ESRI Demographics 5-year ACS layer be released?

Thanks!

  • ACS data are released as layers in Living Atlas typically within a week or sooner of release by the U.S. Census Bureau in December.
  • ACS data are released within Business Analyst Web App, ArcGIS Online Enrich Layer, GeoEnrichment Service, ArcGIS Maps for Office, etc. typically in Esri’s Q1 online release following U.S. Census Bureau’s December release.

Thanks for the links regarding specific years. But I can't find a policy or documentation that says when ESRI updates the ACS layers in general. Is it within X number of days after the Census releases the ACS results?

Ah ok. I am not sure about that and cannot respond directly.

@LucyGuerra do you have any thoughts or insight into this?
