I've been working on installing ESRI's AppBuilder Developer Edition. I've successfully installed the software but when I try to open the application in a browser, it says it's an insecure site as it has a self referenced security certificate. In order to fix it, I need to replace the cakey.pem and cacert.pem files in the application directory. I've found a resource suggesting I use OpenSSL to do this, but have not been able to figure out how to generate the replacement certificates. Is there an easier way to get the AppBuilder up and running? OR how do I generate these certificates using OpenSSL or another tool? Thanks for any input. I was excited to learn about the Developer Edition of the AppBuilder but have been disappointed with the level of difficulty in setting it up...
