What is the difference between Insights for ArcGIS and...?

Excuse me for being blunt, but I am having a hard time seeing what the point of Insights for ArcGIS is. It doesn't seem very different from performing analyses in AGO, visualizing data in Dashboards, and accessibility in Maps for Office. Is the purpose to combining these into a more accessible product for non-GIS specialists? Are there things it can do that other products can't do? Thank you!

Can someone share a current capability matrix/comparison specifically for ArcGIS for Power BI and ArcGIS Insights? I don't want to start a new thread on this topic, but I imagine a lot may have changed in the past few years and I'm wondering if the ROI of an Insights license makes sense at this stage. Granted, it all depends on how you intend to use these apps, but a little more clarity would help the business case. I'm thinking about credit consumption, relative ease of data engineering tasks, differences in visualization customization, etc.
