Hi All,
We're running Insights on Enterprise Portal, and cannot seem to figure out how to auto-refresh the underlying database tables and resulting graphs when the user launches the page.
I've only found the 'Refresh' menu, and have to do it manually.
The end users (viewers) do not have this option, and am wondering if it's a limitation of Insights. We're using 2020.3.0.3150 on Enterprise 10.8.1
Cheers,
Mark
Solved! Go to Solution.
Scott is spot on! Thanks for sharing the link on how to do it.
As this is something that may be easy to miss for many users, I also recorded a quick 1-minute demo of the directions posted above.
How to Automatically Update Data in Your Shared ArcGIS Insights Pages
ArcGIS Insights has many other insanely great features that are easy to miss, so please let us know if you have additional questions in the future. There may be relatively easy fixes like this. Or we you may find something we haven't thought of before that we can try to implement in future releases. 🙂
Thanks, Scott and Mark!

Hey Mark,
If your end users are viewing the data on a shared page, you can schedule updates for shared pages. This link is for 2020.3.

Awesomeness, thanks! I followed the steps, but were a bit different for my version.
That said, when I set the schedule, it said I had 20 available; is that limited to the server or is is per user account?
Thanks
Mark
You can see more here but the short answer is 20 per user.
There is a maximum number of active schedules allowed for both Insights in ArcGIS Enterprise and Insights in ArcGIS Online users. If you reach the maximum number of active schedules, you must pause or delete an existing schedule before creating a new one.
The default number of schedules allowed per Insights in ArcGIS Enterprise user is 20, including both Insights pages and ArcGIS Notebooks. For more information on configuring scheduling for Insights in ArcGIS Enterprise, see Configure ArcGIS Enterprise to support Insights.
Hi Mark,
Happy to hear it worked! w00t! 🙂

Scratch that, answered my own question. Again, thanks for the help.
