I would like to see the minimum card size removed, or at least greatly reduced.  On multiple pages I have had to expand past the screen size and require the user to scroll or limit the information shown.  If I had the ability to reduce tables and charts further it would be a great improvement.

I like to include a reference table below the map, but it seems like the maps, charts, and tables are designed to fill half the screen height.  I don't always want an even split, having a larger map and just a few rows of the table would be desired.

Two other examples I would like to do:

  1. Fit two graphs and a KPI along the side
  2. General fine tuning of cards to keep clean lines

Dear @Eric_Castonguay,

Thanks for your input and for participating in the Insights Community.

Great points! Fortunately, I believe we have a solution. 👍

I’m not sure if you’ve updated to the latest released version of ArcGIS Insights yet, version 2023.1. If not, you may want to, because it has a new feature we’re really excited about called “Report Designer.”

You can now resize cards much more flexibly (and make them smaller) than you could in the past. You can also arrange, align, and modify layouts based on user screen sizes.

For more on getting around the minimum size and creating screen-specific layouts, check out these blog posts:

Thanks, @Eric_Castonguay! And thanks for harnessing the power of geovisual analytics with ArcGIS Insights!
