I have been having an issue with viewing the pop-ups for certain layers in the ios mobile application. The layer has its pop-ups configured in pro and in the web mapping application. It will show up if searched for and allows me to route to it. It will also show up in the related items of nearby features. However, I cannot press on this layer to view its pop-up up info. Any idea why this may be?

Hi Connor,
Can you also confirm that the values for KNOWNAS field are populated in the People layer? It is one of the required fields when loading occupant data.

Hi Connor,
Can you confirm if you have selected 'Enable Pop-ups' for the layer? It is required in addition to 'Configure Popups'. See screenshot below.
If you have pop-ups enabled then can you also make sure that there is no other layer in the draw order above the one you are having issues with which could be interfering with the identify action?

I can confirm, my pop ups have been configured and are even viewable in the indoors viewer in enterprise. However, they are not visible in the Indoors mobile application.
Hi Connor,

It was not previously, once it was added I was able to see the pop up.
Hi Gurav,
I'm experiencing the exact same problem as Connor did ...
I'm wondering why you suggested to verify the values in the KNOWNAS field are populated?
In my case,
- People feature class has KNOWNAS field but we have no need for this and do not use it.
- The (Points of Interest) layer has pop-ups configured for the respective map in Pro.
- It will show up if searched for and allows me to route to it.
- However, I cannot press on this layer to view its pop-up up info.
- Only on iOS (tested on iPad and iPhone)
- Proper behavior observed on (relatively modern) Android
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Derek
Hi Derek,
As mentioned in the earlier reply to Connor, the KNOWNAS field is one of the required fields when loading Occupant data. You can populate the values in that field from another corresponding field in your data using Calculate Field tool and popups will appear as expected in the iOS app. The behavior in the Android app is a happy coincidence so lets leave it at that 😃
You also mentioned 'However, I cannot press on this layer to view its pop-up up info'. Is this specific to Occupants or POIs?
