We're working on implementing the new ArcGIS Indoors Mobile app, but I'm unsure how to set it up to automatically provide the user’s current GPS coordinates as the starting location when they arrive on campus. In the older version, it would offer "My Location" as the default starting point. With the new app, it looks like users need to manually tap their location on the map, but visitors to campus aren't going to know where they are.
Is there a configuration option I am overlooking?

| Classic - Autoloads with My Location | New - No option for My Location |
Did you receive an answer to this question yet? I've noticed the same behaviour in 2.0 as well
Sorry, no. I stopped chasing it for mobile and turned to just using the web viewer. In the web viewer, I know that if you turn on Indoors Positioning, even if you don't truly have it set up, that your iPhone users will have the option to use their current location. Android users are unable to get starting locations right now in the web viewer. The Indoors team at Esri told me they are going to create the capability for a starting location in the web viewer on Android when they release 12.0 later this year/early next year.
