Hello,

I have an ArcGIS Indoors deployment with ArcGIS IPS enabled (ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1). I would like to enable my users to search for the last shared location of other users in the Indoor Viewer and Mobile apps. I have set up Location Sharing and confirmed that users locations are being uploaded from Indoors Mobile to the location track feature layer. The documentation states that: "A custom role with a privilege to view tracks must be assigned to other members of the ArcGIS organization to allow track data to be viewed." I set up a custom role based on the "Viewer" role with the added privilege to "View Location Tracks". This role is compatible with the Indoors User Type.

The issue is when an indoors User Type user assigned this role tries to access the Indoors Viewer application, they receive the following message "You do not have a sufficient user license type to access this application." Has anyone encountered this issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Alistair

Hello @AlistairM, thanks for the post. You have mentioned the message appears in Indoors Viewer. May I know if you see the same issue in Indoor Mobile as well if you have tried it?

Hi Gaurav, funny enough the next day when I went to test this everything worked as expected 🙂 Not sure what I did but the Portal had just been upgraded from 10.9.1 the day before so maybe that had an effect. All good now though! Thanks as always for the quick reply.
