Explore Data through Categories: Use Tag Query Didn't Work

I've configured the category card in my hub site, shared feature layers to hub’s content group and added tags to feature layers. Added tags (boundaries, water, soil, geology, climate) in feature layers didn't appear in Hub site's search tags drop-down options.

Any ideas to bring feature layer's tag to Hub site's category card?

Can we add new search tags in category card to match feature layer tag?

I've experienced similar disconnect between what I'd assumed were my AGOL tags and what is exposed as such in Hub. Always had to execute a workaround. Never heard of a solution. I've similar experience with catalog accessing all my groups.
