Our video player card intentionally does not support autoplay because we're striving to make our product more accessible all around. It is considered a jarring experience to arrive on a page, especially if you're using assistive technology like a screen-reader, and hear audio already playing somewhere on the page. It's akin to opening a site and hearing background music that makes it hard for you to focus, except you don't actually know where on the page the controls to turn it off might be.
