We've made several exciting updates to ArcGIS Hub over the past few weeks. See these updates and more on the ArcGIS Hub Changelog.

New custom domain settings

Want to add a custom domain to your site, but not sure how it will affect your default URL? We now show you both your new URL and default URL (hub.arcgis.com or opendata.arcgis.com) during custom domain configuration to remind you that your site will always have two working URLs. There's no need to worry about your site remaining operational while your custom domain takes effect.

You can also now update your site's default URL (between hub.arcgis.com to opendata.arcgis.com), without having to remove a custom domain beforehand.

Configuring your site's web address with a custom domain is a great way to uniquely represent your site. To learn how to set up one for your site, see Use a custom domain.

Easily add members from Partnered Collaboration Organizations to Hub Teams

Hub team owners or managers with required privileges can now automatically add Collaboration Coordinators or invite other members from established Partnered Collaboration Organizations to be a part of their Core Team or Supporting Teams.

As a team, you and your partners can leverage each other's expertise and content to benefit your sites.

To learn more, see Team configurations for partnered collaborations.

Add collaboration coordinators for easier team management

When a Partnered Collaboration is set up, one member of each organization is designated as the 'Collaboration Coordinator' to facilitate the partnership between organizations. Users who are designated Collaboration Coordinators are now indicated by a 'badge' next to their name, which specifies which organization they belong to.

This badge makes it easy to find the Collaboration Coordinators from each of your partners and automatically add them to the team. They can help your collaborative work by seamlessly bringing in other users from their organization to join the effort.

New circular site loader

Hip to be... circle? The Hub loading square we've all come to know and love is getting a circular facelift.

Adding content to supporting team just got easier!

Team mangers and members can now share content to their Supporting Team through the new 'Add Content' button added to the Team Profile. This feature enhances the current workflow of adding pre-existing content from your ArcGIS Online organization to supporting teams and makes it a one-click experience!

Note: Team managers and Hub administrators can add content created by members of their organizations and the public, while team members can only add their own content. See Configure roles and privileges to learn more.

Explore Hub's new Volunteer Management Template

ArcGIS Hub has launched a new Volunteer Management Template to enhance and streamline engagement efforts with volunteers and partner agencies in your community. This template includes a total of six applications, all geared towards creating a unified place for volunteers to sign up, participate and track the impact of their efforts.

You can also add individual applications from this template through the Application Gallery to your existing Hub site.

This template is available to browse and activate in the Hub Template Gallery.

To learn more about this template, see Volunteer Management.

DCAT and Hub Feeds

To support our European content managers who need INSPIRE Open Data, ArcGIS Hub has launched a DCAT-AP JSON editor and endpoint that conforms to the DCAT-AP 2.0.1 schema. Content managers can configure the feed to meet their federation requirements using values from the Hub V3 API. To edit the DCAT-AP configuration, click "Configure Feeds" under the more menu (...) on the content library. To learn more see Federate data with external catalogs.

The DCAT-US endpoint is also changing. On January 3, 2022, ArcGIS Hub will migrate the existing DCAT-US editor and endpoint. Content managers can review the new endpoint and make updates in the editor. To learn more about the DCAT-US migration, see Upcoming changes to DCAT configurations
