When might we expect fully updated documentation and samples for Mobile 3.0 SDK (Windows / Windows Mobile)? Many of the samples won't work since they are the sames ones shipped with v10.0. Some of the documentation still refers to the old way of doing things (map1.CurrentMapAction and SelectionGraphicLayer for instance).
While it's exciting to gain some new functionality, it's frustrating to try to implement the changes with sub-par documentation and samples.
Just to mention that we recently tried to start developing on ArcGIS Mobile 3.1 for windows and we discovered that this walk-through was still only achievable on Mobile 10.0 !
Not only the path of the application is different but also the Object model, for example : MobileApplication.Current.Project.DataSourceInfos is no longer valid properties because object class Project has evolved since 10.0. So the code of this first step-by-step tutorial will never work. You will have to change many part of the code if you want to get your first extension working... that is also a way to learn!!!
But all these outdated samples are officially part of the 3.1 documentation and supposed to give you a good starting point.
ESRI, could you please update the documentation to the current release ?
