When using ArcGIS for Teams (and any other Esri software), as a company, we prefer to not share usage information with Esri. In ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro this can be disabled. When using ArcGIS for Teams to share content in a Teams meeting, sharing usage information with Esri is enabled by default. Even when a user is logged in the ArcGIS Online.
Impact
We have to instruct all our employees to find this setting and disable it when using ArcGIS for teams in a meeting.
Preferred solution
1. Make the option the share usage information on opt-in instead of an opt-out
2. When a user is logged in to an ArcGIS Online organization, honour the organization setting under "Esri User Experience Improvement program"
Hello @TjibbeWubbels
Being disabled by default has always been our intention as it is shown in our documentation, and this fix is being implemented shortly in a patch following our most recent update to ArcGIS for Teams. I will update you here in this thread once the fix is live.
Thank you,
Sebastian

Best, Tjibbe
