Esri Maps for Office and Internal Server

Hi all,

I have been reading up on Esri Maps for Office and I think it could potentially be useful for my workflow.

However, I would like to know if maps from excel can be shared to my companys internal server? Or does it only connect to ArcGIS Online?

Holly -

Currently Esri Maps for Office supports connections to ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS. If you want to be able to publish to a local server, your option is to use Portal for ArcGIS. You can find more information at the 'what is Portal for ArcGIS' documentation page.
