Attributes grayed out in configuration

I am unable to choose any attributes in the configuration screen of the map. All the attributes are grayed out. I can hover over an attribute and see the first five values. What else do I need to do?

Thanks for your question. Can you please let me know if you have signed in to your ArcGIS Online org or ArcGIS Enterprise portal? In order to be able to geotag/geosearch, you need to sign in to your ArcGIS Online org or ArcGIS Enterprise portal. Hope this helps?
