Hi

I'm working on a proof of concept for management to demo SharePoint 2013 with ArcGIS Online Portal. I have managed to install SP2013 and the ArcGIS for SharePoint 2013 App.

I have data list in SharePoint which i imported from Excel and am now trying to spatially enable (geocode) it. The data has a country data column. According to the documentation to achieve this i need to use the Esri Maps Locate Workflow which i'm attempintg but i keep getting the following error once i enter in my ArcGIS Portal credentials

"An invalid ArcGIS Portal URL was entered. Please verify the URL."

I have imported the https certificate as some of the FAQ reccommends. The current URL i have configured is https:\\www.arcgis.com and i've tried http:\\www.arcgis.com

Any other suggestions?

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I'm not sure if you were able to fix this, but yes, adding the certificate should have done the trick. If you're still having trouble, please go ahead and contact our Esri Support and they should be able to get you up and running.

Hi Guys,

I have the same issue.   I can login when I use Firefox or Chrome but when I use IE9 I get the same error as Chris ("An invalid ArcGIS Portal URL was entered. Please verify the URL.").  I have performed the certificate suggestions but still no joy.  I need to have this working in IE9 asap so any ideas would be hugely appreciated.

Version I'm using is v3.0.1 on Sharepoint 2013

Cheers
