Hi there,
I am hoping someone can help me with an internal inquiry or point me in the right direction. I receive the following request from an internal user who has power bi pro desktop license.
I am created a PowerBI Report that includes an ArcGIS map visual. When I upload it to my workspace in order to create an embed link and add the report on my SharePoint page, I can no longer see the map and the error message is "Your organization has disabled use of ArcGIS for PowerBI". Is this a setting or permission that can be added?
I admin my org's ArcGIS and my IT colleague admins the Microsoft side, but neither of us are users of PowerBI. At first glance, I thought it would have something to do with the role in on my org's agol, but I think I check all the necessary boxes after reading through online documentation. And I also think this thread may be related to the issue, pivoting to MS - https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-for-power-bi-questions/why-are-esri-maps-disabled-in-power-bi-r...
Any suggestion? 🙏

Hello @William ,
I believe there is a tenant administration setting/option that allows/disallows usage of ArcGIS for Power BI for the entire organization. I think this setting is perhaps not toggled on for your organization.
It should be something like the below, although, the screenshot/UI may be slightly outdated:

Thank you @AlagiriVenkatachal. I will look into this with my MS Entra admin.
note:
Admin for the ms tenant must also have a licensed Power BI to enable the setting as shown above.
