I would like to be able to zoom in a few more levels on the visual. I am visualizing points within a building and can't quite get to the scale I would like. See attached for current max zoom and sample data points.
So, it looks like this was implemented. I am now able to use a scale that will allow me to see building level detail. It would have been nice have seen this update announced by Microsoft or commented on here.
Hey Peter - this isn't something that was directly addressed by the ArcGIS Maps for Power BI team. Maps for Power BI is built on top of the Esri JavaScript API, so as improvements are made to the JS API, Maps for Power BI gets better too. I suspect that is what happened here. I'm glad to hear the visual is now doing what you need!
Thank you for your reply. Your explanation makes sense and helps me understand how esri maps plugin works. I will try to keep an eye on the JS API updates going forward.
