  1. The sign-in experience when you open ArcGIS for Excel has undergone great enhancements. We have removed the radio buttons and instead your organization administrator can now preconfigure connection urls for all members to access. Learn how

2. With the June 2022 release we introduced you to the world of custom functions with the use of formulas. The December 2022 release has the Function Builder on the ArcGIS for Excel toolbar for quick access from the Task pane without leaving your Microsoft Excel worksheet!

To begin, select a cell in your Excel worksheet and choose a function you would like to run from the drop-down lists.

When a function is chosen, the next step is to set related parameters.

You can add a header (this is optional, but good to have), or click Update. The function runs on the cell you have selected on your Excel sheet, and results populate the Excel sheet with information.

3. Pivot table support has been added with this release. You can calculate, summarize, and analyze data that lets you see comparisons, patterns, and trends in your data to make better decisions.

Read a blog article on how you can use the pivot table to work with your data.

4. The ArcGIS for Excel December 2022 release is now supported by Enterprise 11.
