Hi Brandon,

There is unfortunately no way to turn on export image from a tiled layer. The layer Michael is showing is a dynamic imagery layer that happens to also have tiles. It can not be done the other way around. The data needs to be published as a Map Image Layer or a dynamic imagery layer . These can be published to ArcGIS Enterprise or published to ArcGIS Online using the ArcGIS Image for Online extension. I hope that helps!

Hi @BrandonGuo

Thanks for posting this question on imagery layer support. As two items to consider:

  1. ArcGIS for AutoCAD supports dynamic imagery layers or tiled layers that include the Export Image operation as part of the service. An example is: https://sampleserver6.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/CharlotteLAS/ImageServer. If you access the service URL and scroll down to the bottom, the Export Image operation is listed.

  2. There is a known issue where ArcGIS for AutoCAD allows adding any tiled layer, even if it is not supported. This is being addressed so that only those imagery layers along the lines of item 1 will be added.

Thanks, @MichaelDavidsonPM   How do I turn on "Export image" option on a tiled imagery layer?

Thanks, @Randy_Garcia   That make sense, any plans to add support for tiled imagery layer in the future? From user point view, this format is easy to use, load fast and works with any map projection unlike raster tile layer.

Tile imagery layers are something we want to support but currently we don't have a way to project map tiles inside of ArcGIS for AutoCAD. Once we have some of that capability we will be able to start looking at implementing tiled map layers.
