Return flight height

When using terrain following I define a flight height from home point to mission start point. It would have been nice to have the same function after the mission is completed. Today the drone fly horizontally from mission end point until it reaches the homepoint X-Y coordinate. In steep terrain this may be 500 m above ground. This  is not ideal, since normally 120 m above ground is maximum allowed height.

Hi @Anonymous User, 

This is already possible, simply enable the "Geofence" option. This will plan a "round-trip" flight that will follow terrain on the return.

Note that using this option will reduce the mapping area per battery because the Flight app must initiate the terrain following return leg before the drone executes its own low-battery return home (which would not follow terrain). This is why in scenarios like yours,  many users prefer to not use Geofence to maximize the mapping area per battery, and take manual control during the return leg to ensure that the drone does not exceed regulatory flight height limits.
