location sharing across organisations

Is there a way to securely share location tracking with other organisations? A filter in a map can be bypassed. I haven't found a neat and tidy way yet. ETL seems a bit over the top to achieve this.

Can you provide some additional info about the workflow you are trying to accomplish and how it might be used? Is it for others to consume/report in other organizations or do they just need to view tracks, etc?

Hi Colin,

The idea was to use location sharing in our organisation and share part of the results (with a specific category) with another organisation as proof of work. Normally I would create a view layer with a filter on the category.

Hi @Ade_Bruijn , is the other organization you want to share with a partnered (or distributed) organization connected to yours?

No, it isn't at the moment. It would be a great improvement to have an option in the Track Viewer when configuring a view to set a filter with category.

Are you using the category field to define teams? There have been talks about expanding the filter capabilities relating the the tracks feature service and its views. Whether those things may occur in Track Viewer or somewhere else is TBD. In essence, you want to create Track Views that are specific to a certain category and perhaps have users in another organization be able to view the tracks within this View. Does this summarize it well?
