Field maps: make attachments mandatory (required as other fields)

During inspections and field map collection it might be mandatory to collect an image of the infrastructure.

The idea is to configure that at least one attachment is required.

It must be possible to pre-create points to be inspected with already existing informations (geometry, label etc). Mobile worker in the field fills the other missing fields (required) and takes at least one picture.

There could be a workaround which currently doesn't work (count the number of attachments, write it into a field and make it required).

Agree.  There needs to be a way to ensure that a(n) attachment(s) is taken for features when required.

Seems like an "Attachment Required" checkbox in the form editor would suffice as well.

Push! For us it´s also very important to make the attachements mandatory because in our usecase we are bound to some laws in which the documentation, also photo documentation is written down. So we have to make them required but also see no way at this moment.

In this context we also have the requirement for specific types of photos. it would be nice if also this could be forced with placeholders to be filled:

  • Take picture 1 as overview
  • Take picture 2 as detail

The order is important because there is no other way to differentiate picture! Some metainfo would be helpful as well e.g. "overview = true"

To create reports later on it's not only the order of the image that's important but also the orientation (e.g. always landscape).

This is something my organization really needs. Surprised this isn't a feature already.
