Heat Map on arcgis explorer?

Is posible to extend a layer from arcgis explorer API,  so I can set an image that shows a heat map, I can create the Image, this image contain the hot heat that is built using data(coord x and y) from web services but how can I show the image on the map?, I' am using an example that works fine in silverlight, but I'd like this funcionality on Arcgis explorer 1200, Thanks.

It is not possible to extend the ArcGIS Explorer layer support. Some additional content support is offered via Layer Packages created within ArcGIS Desktop - but not for custom layers. without understanding more about exactly what your heat map comprises it is difficult to offer specific advice but you could explore putting your custom content into a popup window for a Note or perhaps within a Map Service in ArcGIS Server?
