Lists do not reflect the filters set up in the map or in the feature layer

I really like this new builder!  I am having a problem with a list and the associated web map. The web map has 1 layer with a filter to only show some features.  I added a list to show images and brief descriptions, it looks great!  The only problem is the list shows all my features, so I set up the filter the hosted feature layer properties, but the it still lists all features.  Any thoughts on lists and feature layer filters?

.... through further review of other comments I see that list filtering is something you are working on.  I assume that would fix the issue I am seeing now?
