Spatial Filter Query doesn't get selected records in EB

I am configuring an EB app and I want to do a spatial filter query.

Here is my configuration.

But when I use the select tool in the Map the selected records are not passed to the query widget. In the image below you can see that 5 areas are selected but none are indicated on the query widget.

If I make the selection again or change the filter layer to something else and then back again the selection is passed to the widget. I would like this to be passed first time to eliminate the confusing workflow.

Any advice?

I have similar problem... I have been trying to find someone to ask. The Query widget is WebApp Builder functions excellently... Does anyone have a solution to this?

@RossFindlayCOC I can reproduce your described issue and it does look weird. We will take a look at it.
