Okay so it should be simple, a filter widget should allow you to have an action that filters other layers based on your selection. WHY!? Why does it not do this. The only thing I can think of is that if they include this functionality in EXB, that it cannibalizes dashboard functionality. I just want to make a drop-down list that has boundary values that when I select them, it filters events or facilities or list elements. Or what about a spatial filter! That would be amazing... seems to be an obvious oversight by the team OR intentionally limiting EXB functionality. I have multiple times gone to Dashboards because EXB does not have this functionality.
