I’m running into an issue when printing maps from ArcGIS Pro. When I print a layout (PDF or direct print), the colors look slightly washed out and some fine line features appear lighter than expected. However, when I run a standard printer test page, everything prints perfectly solid colors, gradients, and alignment all look normal, so the printer hardware doesn’t seem to be the problem.
I’ve tried switching drivers, adjusting DPI settings, and exporting the map at different resolutions, but the print quality from ArcGIS still doesn’t match what the printer is capable of.
Has anyone dealt with ArcGIS outputs printing differently than standard diagnostic test patterns? Could this be related to color profiles, rasterization mode, or printer spool settings?
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
