Hi, I am trying to solve a tabular data issue in the ArcGIS Online environment.

I want any of my 4 or 5 users to be able to edit a coded list (domain).  When we add a new record, for example a work order in our work order table, and the requesting customer is not listed in the domain drop down list for the customer attribute, only I as the feature layer owner can go back to the data tab in the feature layer properties and add another customer in the coded list.

I have tried sharing the feature layer in a shared update group, and they can't edit it there.

The environment I am looking at for the front end is the experience builder edit widget, b/c it allows us to add a new record.  I have tried linking related tables together, but can't come up with a solution.

Does anyone have any ideas?  I am up for any solution, just as long as any user can still add a record.

Thanks.

Ah yes, the Edit widget in ExB must use the web map settings for field configuration. Nice work pinning it down!

I may be missing something, but I don't see a way to add a new record to the relationship in Experience Builder. Is this process documented somewhere?

in what version of Enterprise was this released in?

We are still unable to edit related features in 11.1

Is it implemented in Portal 11.3? I can't get this to work (it works fine in the map). I don't see the 'related features' option in the General properties of the edit widget (I see it in ArcGIS Online). WIll it be available in Portal 11.4?

You can edit related features in Portal 11.3 as long as you set it up within your map.

It works perfectly in the map, but I can't add my related tables to the edit widget in Experience. Also, I don't see the related tables when I select a feature from the layer with related records using the edit widget.

Configure your form in map viewer and choose webmap settings in the editor widget.

The tables themselves won't be added to the editor widget. They will be added in with the layer they are related to. So those 2 will be under the same editor panel.

I had choosen this option already. Funnily enough it works now 🙄 but my problem is not solved: I don't want the users to be able to add features (rooms), but only to add records to the rooms' related table (room inspections). I can't  figure out how to set editing settings for the layer (rooms + inspections are one single layer item): if I uncheck 'add', they won't be able to add rooms but they also won't be able to add table records.

I don't want the rooms to be visible under 'create features' in the edit widget, only to be accessible via the 'select' option.

Hopefully this make sense. Thanks
