Hi Esri, Do you plan to add Arrows to the draw widget so when users place text they can use an pointer arrow. I notice the line symbology option does not include arrow selection. Also please add export/import to this widget our business users require this functionality, similar to WABDs Enhanced Draw. I raised this over 12 months ago.
cheers
I also think the Draw widget needs a freehand draw tool. There are also known issues with the Draw widget when using the tools to take measurements. There are inaccuracies in the labeled measurements when using coordinate systems other than the WGS84, whatever is the "standard" in ArcGIS online maps. There should also be an option to choose units when enabling tooltips and constraits, since using the Draw widget is the only decent way to long individual segment in a multipart measurement....the measurement widget is basically useless for this operation.
Another suggestion that has been brought up numerous times would be to allow for the rotation of point symbols. This could, to some degree, help with the arrow issues orginally brought up in this thread.
Thanks
There are arrows available in the point symbols. Although they cannot be rotated, so you may not find them that useful.
If you are in an environment where you can use custom widgets, here is a Draw Widget that can make rotatable arrows. And measurement as well as saving and import/export functions are coming soon. https://community.esri.com/t5/experience-builder-custom-widgets/additional-draw-widget-improvements/...
Those custom widgets look nice, but for those of us that pay the exorbitant prices for ArcGIS online and are stuck at the mercy of the factory enable widgets, this does little good. These basic Draw featurees should be included in the core product, especially freehand draw and point symbol rotation.
This is where I am obligated to say you can still use Developer Edition if you have ArcGIS Online.
Thanks @JeffreyThompson2 , Really looking at arrows in the lines function. Thanks for the info on the custom widget, might be the best option for now. Any idea on when the export/import tools will be available?
cheers
I'm hoping to get them out this month.
